Customer data requests
If a customer exercises their right to see or delete the personal data you hold on them, this is where you handle it — a lookup by phone or email, and a one-click erase. Owner-only.
When you'd use it
A “data subject access request” (or an erasure request) is a customer asking what you hold and, sometimes, to delete it. turnda gives you a direct way to answer both — no support ticket, no digging through records.
Looking someone up
- Enter their Phone or email.
- Press Find their data. turnda shows everything on file for that contact — their visits, bookings, and any recent WhatsApp conversation transcript — or “Nothing on file for that contact” if there's none.
That's your answer to “what do you hold on me?”
Erasing their data
| Button | What happens |
|---|---|
| Erase this person's data | Removes their personal details everywhere the retention sweep reaches — visit and booking names and contacts, notes, flags, rating comments and WhatsApp messages. Permanent. |
Confirm and you'll see how many visits and bookings were erased.
Two things deliberately kept
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| An opt-out record, if the person ever texted STOP | So their choice keeps being honoured after the erase. |
| A log of the action, as a one-way scramble of the contact | Proof the request was handled, without keeping the details. |
Erase can't be undone. It permanently removes the person's personal data. Make sure you've verified the request is genuinely from that customer before you confirm.
