Roles: who can do what

Everyone on your team has a role that decides what they can see and change.

There are three roles — Owner, Manager, Staff — plus a manager scoped to specific locations. Roles are checked by the server, not just hidden in the menu — someone without permission for a page can't reach it even by typing its address.

The three roles

Role	What they can do
Owner	Full control of the account — billing, brand, every location, the team, and account-wide defaults. The buck stops here.
Manager	Runs the day-to-day, but only at the branches they're assigned to: lines, visitor pages, screens, bookings, staff and reports there. Never billing, and never a branch nobody has placed them at.
Staff	Serves people. Runs the Queue and calls the next visitor. Sees their own numbers, not account settings.

A manager isn't given every branch by default. A manager assigned to nothing sees nothing until an owner places them somewhere.

Location-managers

A location-manager is a staff member given manager rights at one or more specific branches. They run those locations — lines, visitor pages, bookings, reports and the team there — without touching other branches or account-wide settings.

It's how a multi-branch owner hands over one site without handing over the whole account. What a location-manager may do is itself configurable — see the manager permissions page.

The founding owner can never be removed or demoted. This is the one person who created the account. There is currently no way to hand ownership to someone else and step away — if you're planning to leave the business, talk to support before you rely on any workaround.
