Connect a TV (pairing)

This is the page you open on the TV — big, simple and login-free. It's where you type the pairing code, and where you bring a board back after the screen loses power.

The page on the TV

The address app.turnda.com/tv — that's the whole thing. No long link to copy, and no sign-in, so you never type a password on a shared screen.
Why it's short It usually gets typed with a TV remote.

Open it in the TV's own browser — any smart TV, a streaming stick, an Android box, or a spare tablet or laptop all work.

What you see "Connect this screen" and a big code box.

Connecting

  1. On your dashboard, open Devices and show a 6-digit code.
  2. Type the code here, on the TV.
  3. Tap Connect this TV. The board goes full-screen — and because you tapped, the browser unlocks sound, so the chime works from the first call.
Type carefully, because wrong codes cost the whole shop. Five wrong codes from your shop's internet connection within a quarter of an hour pause pairing for every screen in the shop. The wait can be anything up to about fifteen minutes.
What the screen says
When pairing is paused “Too many failed codes from this shop. Pairing is paused for about 9 minutes — then show a fresh code and try again.”
Don't keep pressing Connect. That's what holds it shut. Wait for the time it names, then show one fresh code on the dashboard and enter it slowly. A code that merely expired costs nothing, so showing new codes is always free.

Resume after a power cut

If the TV restarts, you don't need a fresh code — the connect page offers "Resume this screen" to re-open the board in one tap.

What never expires The board's own link doesn't expire — only the short pairing code does.
Chime silent after a restart? Browsers mute audio until someone taps. Tap "Resume this screen" (or reconnect) so the sound is unlocked again — see Board look & sound.
