Design your visitor pages

Everything a visitor sees on their phone is shaped here. One Visitor pages designer drives them all, and a live preview updates as you edit — Save makes it real.

Owner & Manager Where: Visitor pages 4 min read
Preview across devices and states. Switch the preview between phone, tablet and computer, and step through states like “Line is full” or “You're closed” — so you see exactly what a visitor sees before anyone does.

The pages you design

The rail lists five visitor surfaces plus the designer itself. Pick a page and the inspector shows what you can change on it. Some pages, like the waiting page, have no form — there's nothing to ask for there.

  • Join page — where a visitor joins your line.
  • Waiting page — the tracking link they follow while they wait.
  • Kiosk — the tablet at your counter.
  • Self-booking — where a visitor books a time in advance.
  • Their booking — where they manage a booking they already made.

Look

Under Look, keep Use your account brand on to inherit your account's colour and light theme, or override just this surface — an accent colour, a background, a text size (Small → Extra large) and bold headings.

How contrast is guarded

What you seeWhat it means
A “may be hard to read” warning next to a colour That combination is hard to read, so change it.
Under the accent colour: “Buttons use your colour with dark text · used 5.21:1” This is the opposite of what most people expect. Your colour is painted exactly as you chose it — it is the writing on the button that goes dark or light so it stays readable. Nothing darkens your brand colour.
What the contrast number means It is simply how much contrast was measured between the button colour and its writing. Higher is easier to read.

Words

Words sets a custom heading (empty uses your shop and line name) and, on the join page, a welcome message. Default language sets the language of the visitor screens for this location — and only the screens.

Screens and messages follow different settings. Default language does not change your WhatsApp and email messages — those follow a different setting (the branch's own language, or your business language, in Settings). A shop can run English screens and Spanish messages, or the reverse.

Which language a visitor sees

Whose screen it isWhich language wins
A visitor's own phone (join, tracking, self-booking, manage a booking) Their phone's language wins, if it is one of the six turnda ships. Your setting is the fallback.
A screen that belongs to you (the counter tablet and the lobby TV) Your setting always wins. The device is ignored, because a wall board is your signage, not anyone's phone.
Neither yields one of the six languages The page is in English.

What you ask for

On form pages, What you ask for is the field library — name, phone or email, party size, service, vehicle, a note — each a switch you turn on and mark optional or required.

Ship only what you truly need The fastest join is a single tap.
Only the owner can change this A manager sees the field list read-only. What you ask for decides what personal data your shop holds, so it sits with the owner alongside data export and deletion.

The full field-by-field table is on The Join page.

Preview every state — before a visitor does

The live phone-frame preview has a state switcher, plus a phone / tablet / computer device switch, so you can see each page in every situation it can be in — not just the happy path.

PageStates you can preview
Join page The form · Contact filled in · Line is full · You're closed · Not taking visitors.
Waiting page Waiting · Only bookings ahead · Their turn · Finished.
Kiosk Welcome · Number given · Line full.
Self-booking Pick a time · Details · Booked.
Their booking Their booking · Reschedule · Cancelled.
Check every state after a change Step through them after any colour or wording change — a full or closed state uses your same design, and it's the one a frustrated visitor sees.

Saving — when it becomes real

Nothing reaches a visitor while you edit. The preview updates as you type, but the live pages change only when you press Save — a "Visitor page saved" toast confirms it.

  • Leaving with unsaved changes? The app asks — “Leave without saving?” — so work isn't lost by accident.
  • Each page keeps its own look and its own questions. Saving the kiosk never touches the join page.
Looking for TV settings here? The lobby-TV board isn't part of this designer — it has its own home in Displays. If a manager finds this whole page read-only, the owner has switched off the Edit visitor-page branding permission in Manager permissions.
