Design your lobby-TV board
The board is the screen in your lobby that shows who's being served. You start from a ready-made layout, then tune it on a canvas that's the real board — what you see is exactly what the TV shows.
Start from a layout
Open Displays to see a gallery of ready-made layouts — Call board, Now and next, Serving points, Waiting list, Join from your phone, a Journey board, and more.
- Two buttons at the top switch between Wide screen and Tall screen layouts, for a TV mounted the normal way round or upright.
- Pick one close to what you want and you'll have a working board in three or four taps.
Two things worth knowing on that page

| “Fits your setup” on a card | You have more than one serving point set up, and this is the counters layout — its shape already matches your shop. No other layout ever carries it. |
| “YOUR BOARDS” row above the gallery | Lists boards you have already saved, each labelled Wide screen or Tall screen. It only appears once you have saved one — an empty-looking gallery on day one is normal. |
A card marked "a few choices" asks a short question before it opens, so the board it builds is the right shape first time.
- “How many counters, rooms or chairs serve this queue?” (and one column or two) — starts on the number you already have set up.
- “How many different services share this screen?”
- For the video layout: “Where should the video sit, and how many queues go beside it?”
The live editor
Three panes

Your board can rotate through several pages, each shown for a few seconds.

| A badge naming the layout you started from | Names the ready-made layout you started from until you change something. From then on it reads “Changed by you” — nothing is unsaved or wrong, it's just no longer the stock layout. |
| A badge reading “On {{count}} screens” (for example “On 2 screens”) | Saving repaints those TVs immediately. Hover it and it says so — “Saving repaints these screens”. |
| That same badge reading “Not on any screen yet” | The most common reason an owner thinks their board isn't working — designing a board and sending it to a screen are two different steps. |
“Set it up for my kind of shop”
Four buttons — Salon, Clinic, Workshop and Café or takeaway — fill in the wording, the colours and what the left-hand column is called, all at once.

Wide, tall and very wide screens
A board is built either wide or tall, and it's told which by "Which way is the screen?" on the Whole board tab.
On a very wide screen — the long, letterbox-shaped ones, wider than an ordinary widescreen TV — the board keeps its normal shape in the middle.
The two strips left over at the sides are filled with your brand colour and your logo (or your business name, if you haven't uploaded one) instead of being left black.
There's nothing to switch on — it happens on the real screen only, so the editor's preview still shows the plain board.
Save & send to a screen
Press Save board and you're prompted to send it to a screen from Devices.
